Which book next ?

Hi gang. Well, i finally finished my html/css course (O'reily's Head First html/css) and am trying to figure out where to go next... Javascript or PHP/MySQL ? Which book should I buy next ? Is there a logical progression or is it a matter of personal choice ? Thanks !!!!!!!!!!!

I think JavaScript will be best after XHTML/CSS but in the end it depends on you

Personally I'd say that it should be php/mysql. Reason being that a pretty frontend cannot beat a solid backend when it comes to making money and getting traffic. Think PlentyOfFish.com =)

PHP/MySQL was my choice after HMTL, I have been building PHP sites for quite a while now.

If you want to make money, do PHP/MySQL. JavaScript doesn't have much direct application for SEO and building content and traffic.

Get a basic book on PHP/MySQL development and go through it. After you are done with that, get the book Pro Drupal Development. Drupal is great.
