    MySql ft_min_word_len change

    Hi,

    I need to change "ft_min_word_len" from 4 to 2, any help would be appreciated!

    You need to be running MySQL 4.0 or higher

    version 3.23.58 (which alot of hosts still run) does not support the change.

    If you're running 4.0 or higher, you can change the configuration in my.cnf using the line "ft_min_word_len=2"

    Then rebuild your index and you should be good to go.

    how do you access your my.cnf and rebuild the index?
