php to .NET or php on IIS ???

I purchased a pack of 40 adsense content websites only to find they are written in PHP. I'm a Microsoft programmer and only know ASP + ASP.NET. My servers are IIS.

Can anyone recommend the quickest way to convert these - or is there a way to run them directly under IIS?

You can install PHP on IIS actually. We have but we are actually phasing out all PHP on IIS servers. There are some programs that will convert PHP to ASP, but it is like a WYSIWYG program - there will be errors

Really I had no idea... I wonder if my host (1and1.com) permits this...
Thanks this could save me a huge amount of rework!

Check the code itself, they might have the *.php extension - but could be simple html. You may find a couple php includes but how hard would that be to convert over.

I wouldn't install PHP in an IIS env. ever... Its never as stable in x86 env as it is in unix env.

Yes, you are correct, HTML with what looks like PHP includes for the ads - I can do a huge search/replace and that should fix it.

    Thanks all for assistance!
