Hi, looking for a little help, want to add a popup box that displays colors, user picks color and it pulls hex code back into input box on a php page.

THis is more of a Javascript task than a PHP task.

If you have the page, and when the user clicks a link or button, you can use the window.open Javascript command, then in the new window, display their choices.

After they make their choices, you can use Javascript to repopulate a form on the parent page.

Am I on the wrong track here, or would you like some sample code?
