[PHP] Richtext Editor for blog script I am working on.

    Hello everyone.

I am currently working on a blog script in PHP with a friend and I need some help. We would like to include some sort of posting thing like "BBcode", but the other person does not want to do anything involving Javascript and I am lost on how I can make it work. I know there is a way, just not sure on how.

    Thanks,
    Michael.

To add smiles, you'll need the user to type the code for that image, if you want him to click the smile and be added to the post, this would mean "something" being executed on the users computer, and that means using Javascript

So, you are saying it is not possible to do what I want done? I was fairly sure there would be a way without javascript being involved. Thanks for your fast reply.

Anyone else think of a way to do it?

unfortunatelly, unless you want the user to write a code for each image, you'll need javascript.

There are some javascript editors you can use freely and easily, try TinyMCE of FCKeditor
