Request: Help with php pls

Hi, when I set up my board I "diddled" a bit with the settings. And on a normal board you would recieve a little message at the top when you get a PM. However, I have only just noticed that I have deleted mine
Please view algarve-guides.com/forum to see what I mean.
I know where to put the code, but could somebody please tell me what the code should be so that it pops up when you have been sent a PM.

Don't know the specific answer, but actually, you may want to get the new phpBB 3 Beta - its a big improvement (and will obviously fix your problem). Failing that, you probably need to use the support forum: http://www.phpbb.com/community/

I did actually post the same message on the community the other day but got no reply. Repeated the request yesterday and got it all sorted. But thanks for the reply.
