My goal is to have the central column display self updating feed content (text and images), and have my own info, links, ads, etc on the sides (almost the opposite of what I'm capable of doing now). This has slowed me down a great deal, and I have received absolutely no responses on the joomla forums despite multiple posts. ANY help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |
Well, I was the one basically who worked on this. If I understand correctly, you need to either:
1. Look at the placements of the modules, especially the front page, and limit it to front page only, or
2. change the module setup and do the same.
To find out where the modules are located go to Site > Preview > InLineWithPositions, in Joomla 1.15, probably something similar in 1.5.
As an example I'll use a template.

Now you need to set the module at:
Advert1, User5, User1, etc. which are in the center.
