I would like to get some general feedback on Ruby on Rails.
I'm not quite sold on it yet. About half of my programmers are becoming die hard fans while the other half say its to early and not proven for large scale platforms.
Me personally, I've always been a fan of php, Java, and ofcourse JavaScript, ajax.
Let me here what the word is outside of my little world..
Thanks!

Ruby on Rails is nice if you are making a site that does not have a need for flexibility, however you have to remember it is just a framework. The problem with frameworks is they don't adjust to certain situations well. It really depends on the project you are doing. Hosting hasn't been perfected for it yet as well btw, a lot of hosting companies offer it but they don't have any clue on how to set it up properly.
