Way to accept WordPress Updates automatically?

Is there a plugin or widget that can be installed on a WP site that will update and accept upgrades/updates automatically?

I just logged onto a site and there was 5 available upgrades and another had 3 available.

Managing many sites, is there something that can be installed in the coding that will automagically upgrade?

Seems foolish in a way that once I accept the TOS of the widget, install it, and activate it that I would have to go back and accept upgrades/updates.

I don't think there is anything automatic like that. I'm using simplescripts.com to manage my Joomla and WP installations, and it can send you emails, and update everything all at once. I first started using it at Bluehost, but when I moved to a VPS account, I had the host install it for me. I absolutely love it - kicks the crap out of Fantastico! And it is always first to have the latest versions of everything.

I think Fantastico is pretty sweet, compared to some other products I have used in the past.

Where do you have your VPS account? Still at BlueHost?

I got a VPS account at knownhost.com I did a lot of research and they seem really solid. So far, the support has been excellent.
I was getting a little worried on my shared bluehost accounts, after seeing a lot of people getting dumped for having too many files/installations (not bandwidth or resources!). I still have a bluehost and another shared account that I use, but will try to get most everything moved over this year to the VPS and all my new sites are going there.

Check out simplescripts.com - if you like Fantastico, you'll love simple scripts. They even have a remote plan if your host doesn't offer it, but there is a yearly fee for that. If you add it as a host, it is free. And with a VPS, you are a host.

I hadn't seen simplescripts before, I will have to look into that one. Another good one that has a free and a premium version is Softaculous, but in your case, Wordpress is part of the premium version, but so far, it handles the most scripts out of the auto-installers I've come across.

Even with all of the files, I don't have an enormous amount of actual disk space used, but yeah they are big installs. I could go in and trim out all the unecessary stuff (templates, languages, smiley packs,etc.), but it's a lot of work. I do like bluehost overall though, so I'll probably keep them for a while.
