Its goal is to integrate content management systems, wikis, forums, chatrooms, IM, blogs, and a score of other web communication technologies in a simple manner. I am coding this in PHP with a database in MySQL. I have a good understanding of PHP, but do not have a terribly good understanding of MySQL. If someone were willing to donate a few minutes of their time toward this project, I would be eccstatic.
I started this project because I was tired of directly dealing with HTML (mainly the navigation issues), but I was also frustrated with the tools of the day (namely content management systems). Although I believe in separation of design and content, CMSs do not work for me. I need a much more powerful, adaptable, and extensible tool for my websites. And so I began formulating this project. I have posted a design document on my website (http://andybud.com/design_doc.php). Please feel free to take a look at it and contact me with questions, comments, suggestions, or wishes to help. I am eagerly anticipating the responses, and hope to come up with a very feasable system. Please reply.
