looking to develop a name (SHOCK horror)

Whats the best script to set up a whois search site?

Well, I do not know the best. But I just wrote one, very simple. And Free. Could hold you over til you find something.

I found a free one which also allows bulk checking.
I am using it on: http://www.checkdomains.net/whois.php

thanks will take a look..

a lot fo them dont cater for .uk names... but I suppose it can be tweaked..

This one caters for .co.uk okay.
(It doesn't have a checkbox for the ".co.uk" extension, but if you enter them singularly or bulk it will tell you if they are available, and display the Whois info correctly).

That is a Nice Script and it appears to support over 200 extensions.. Sweeet.. may use it myself..

thanks i have got it running....

http://dev.nameyet.com/whois/whois.php

will work on the look and feel later in the week..if i have 5 mins
and when the name www.searchwhois.net has updated in the DNS.
