you can actually use all* ad-networks or affiliate banners you want. (*with exception of illegal or fraudolent content)

Just make sure they match the size of either 600x160 skyscraper format (left to content) and max. 560px width for content adcode (above and below content). As an example, you can even add links or youtube videos

I have tryed this on cpanel php5.2 but could not get it to work,maybe I am missing a server mod. ?

The script swa update some time gao and works on most cpanel (or it did for me)
