I would quite possibly be interested in something like this, the more feature rich and cheaper the better. Prefer auctioning style though.

If I can't find something I will be launching http://www.auctioning.in as is (with a few more mods) - if I can i will go with something else instead though

Something like http://www.dnsportfolio.com/ or your looking for something more advanced.

I use this script on MonDomain.com ( more or less original ) and my Adult domain site which I added a few extra pages to it, affiliate programs, available names and industry news.

    I used this for a bit http://collectionmanagers.com/download.php?prod=1

It's LAMP and open source (I think), you do need to pay something to remove the copyright links.

    Hope it helps, cheers!

Do any of these scripts let you define a multi-level heirarchy of categories,
AND let you assign a domain to multiple categories?
(I'd like to export my sedo portfolio directly into a script on my own site. sedo has a three-level category tree, and three categories per domain.)

We created a new (and free) domain portfolio script one month ago.

You can download the script by following my signature link and you can see the script in action HERE.

    Some of the script's features:

    Easy installation/setup.
    Unlimited domain and category listing.
    Easy-to use backend.
    Add domains to multiple categories.
    Bulk upload functionality.
    WYSIWYG for easy content management.
    Fully-automated offer system.
    Fully-automated mailing system.
    Integrated RSS feed.
    Meta tags integration for SEO.
    Upload logo for brandability.
    Professional search function.
    Customizable Thank You pages.
    Sales management with Paypal integration.
    Tell a friend functionality.
    Integrated Backup Solution.
    Unlimited updates and support.
    Sponsor management for added revenue.
Website skins to change color of site with just one click

We actually just upgraded to V1.2 which comes with an integrated backup functionality. Once you have all your domains uploaded to the script (by bulk upload) you can simply export this as a backupfile with one single click.

I was just researching this today and came across this thread. so far the best one i've seen, not so far mentioned, is http://www.domainerscript.com .. .. on the pricey side, but looks very top notch. also take a look at the showcase, there are some high profile sales sites using this script. the best part is it can be integrated with WordPress

EDIT: oops, the second link i posted i just noticed belongs to the above poster, for DNresult.com. also looks pretty nice, but from what i gather is for a stand alone site and cant be easily integrated into an existing WP site. (please correct me if i am wrong)

I use http://www.dnsportfolio.com/. It does support multiple category listings. Has a few quirks but generally very nice. You should donate $10 if you use it but that is optional. Most of us don't have sites that will have the traffic to realistically support auction activity of value.

    My site is http://www.Names2Buy.com.

Hmm... I guess I should update my DNSPortfolio script, I'm using an older version without the multi cats., would be nice to have that feature. I will prob. have to redo the design at the same time as I have changed it a bit on my main site and major changes on my adult portfolio site.

    Its a nice script.

With DNSportfolio.com you can just list domains as "Make an offer" as far as I see. No BIN possibility. (do correct me if I'm wrong)

Our domain portfolio script at http://dnresult.com allows for BIN payments as well. (and tons of other features) It even comes with a "one-click" backup functionality.

You can see our script in action here: http://qake.net (demo site) and here: http://perfectdomain.net (live site)

Also our script lists domains in this format: http://perfectdomain.net/CookEducation.com . This way you can easily redirect your existing domains to your payment page, plus these links are 100% SEO friendly.

With dnsportfolio on the other hand listed domains get an URL with an ID instead such as #108 and as a result doesn't allow for easy redirection and those pages aren't SEO friendly.

We have a free version and a paid version. If you installed the free version you don't need to reinstall to upgrade to the paid version. We can unlock all paid features from our main control panel if an upgrade is requested.

We also offer full installations on your server. Right now we have a promotion going that we do the installation on your server for free ($20 value) if you buy the full version of the script.

You can list a price or just use the default "Make an Offer" with DNS Portfolio. With a price, you can change the status to 'For Sale' if you like. Most of us are just lazy or hoping for that very rare $100,000 first offer! (Emphasis on lazy.) For the price (free), DNS Portfolio is hard to beat. It is also fairly easy to modify to change the look and make minor modifications even for a 'passable' amateur designer (me). I am not sure what features are included with the free DnResult.com script. It looks to be very nice and does seem to have some additional features. If I had known about it, I certainly would have looked at it too.

What I don't like is the scripts that just show you a few domains in a few categories and then you have to page through tons of little pages or, more likely, just leave. That doesn't apply to either of these scripts and I am not sure it applies to the other scripts noted here either but most of you likely know what I am talking about.
