Which flash arcade script is the best? Reward for help.

I'm trying to determine which free flash arcade script is the best. I'll award 3000 DNF points to the most thorough single answer (or split that amount over multiple people, if there are multiple high quality responses).

Scripts/sites I've already found, but don't have personal experience with are:

I don't need videos/photos capabilities in the script, just games. Ideally the script can handle (and includes, or has available at extra cost) 2000+ games. I would need the visual design/template to be able to be easily customized by my own designers. The script should also be scalable, so that it can handle high traffic should the site become very successful. PHP language is preferred. Price is not important.

I look forward to some informed reviews of what's out there in this niche. I've done a lot of searching already in Google, but haven't found anything definitive.

All of these are very common arcade scripts but they are good infact a few of them are developed by DNF members too.

I would suggest you get a freelancer to make a custom script for you if price is not an issue

To make it a successful site you should make it like just any other arcade.

Thanks, lazyleo, but I'd rather go with an off-the-shelf script, to not reinvent the wheel (plus to have access to one that's been tested and has been around for a while).

Any more reviews/suggestions/recommendations would be useful.

The saying you get what you pay for holds true to scripts. If you are wanting to develop a site a few hundred dollars for a script is no big deal.

Being said I have developed several arcade/game sites with different scripts you have listed and really none of them are great.

The one That I had the most success with was Game Script -- gamescript.net. It use to be better when the owner and usere were more involved on their forum, but it has really sliped over time.

If you really want to create a great site I would reccomend you hire a frelancer to help create a script for your needs.

onarcade is really good and has more features and active development.

gamescript is an OK script but there is NO support

New one is Pro Arcade Script I really like how this one looks. see: arcadeous.com

Hey there,

I own blitzgamer.com (established online flash arcade) ...

It is a custom made script, however, if I were to buy or get a script for another site, I would def go with http://www.phparcadescript.com/ ..

I have many partners who use this script in the industry

ballerarcade, bootyarcade, gameshockers just to name some of them..

They have all told me that it is easy to modify and there is still some support..

Some of our gamescript.net script owners run some of the largest sites in the past before selling them. We also have employees and not a 1 man team.

I had been searching all over the web, and ArcadeScript is the one I ended up. I compared the many features among the different arcade scripts and this one is definitely the best! The brand new 3800+ game pack is excellent with the top scores built in. I highly recommend it!

I have tons of games I can contribute if you are interested. Last time I checked I had over 3800 including the high score games. If I have to convert the SQL to a particular script I would ask for a little for my time, but if not you are welcome to download the games for free.
