illegal scripts?

I have heard of illegally making money with scripts, but I don't know much about scripts? What exactly are they and how do I know if I use them they won't be illegal?

they are anything that does a task like count the total visitors on a site to a thing which sell pixels ad-space automatically there ususally is a license you can view to see if it legal

Why is this illegal?

Illegal scripts are scripts which were obtained illegally

.

In other words if you downloaded a script for free some where when you were supposed to pay for it. Or if you own a copy of the script but you are violating the terms of the license, for example by using it on more domains then you are allowed.
