there is http://www.alstrasoft.com/efriends.htm i have not actually used any of the scripts there - however researched the there groupon clone for a client and the support was great

Networking for a special interest groups: IT groups, Real Estate People where they connect to their own groups.
The site would either offer directly or connect to affiliate sites to provide products and services to these groups.
