i wrote my own backorder script that tries to get some nice domain names for me.
the script runs very fast, according to my registrar's api (currently enom and a german one) i already found domains that happened to be free and my script tried to reg them.
i think the problem was that my registrars were too slow to register those domain names ( i even got LLL com's through my script), so anotherone (mostly pool or snapnames) was faster with the registration.
so i wondered if there is a registrar out there with their own api, where the registration process is much quicker, so that i might have more success.
thanks for your help![]()

as i told you i couldn't get it.
the problem was that my registrar's api told me it would be available, so my script tried to get it, but my registrar was too slow...
so maybe there are faster ones?

fact is that my registrar showed this domain as available...
so it might be the registrars fault...

You want to compete with snapnames and pool with a hand written script, working through some other registrar?

I don't know much about this. Why is that so impossible?
it's not impossible if you own a few registrars.
but, if you're not, just find something else to do and not waste your time
You need to be a registrar (or have one working for you) with direct access to the registry. Actually one registrar is not enough as you will have competition from tens of other registrars.
An API is way too slow: first you send a request to the registrar, which will query the registry on your behalf and return the response to you. We are talking in milliseconds here![]()
