    Yelp clone "meeplace"

Anyone have any experience with the yelp clone "Meeplace"? I am looking to set up a restaurant listing/review site which will allow the local restaurants out here to control their own listing (for a small fee) and include links to their site, a link to their menu, etc.

Out of all of the website directory and review sites I've looked at (mainly just online demos) it looks like Meeplace may be the one that does exactly what I'm looking for. It's a bit pricey at $350...so I figured I'd check with you all to see if anyone here had any experience with it, and if they were happy with the purchase and the support they got from the people who wrote it.

Anyone have any opinions about it?

It's a nice looking script. I was considering buying it about a year ago. I emailed the developer and asked if any of the files were encrypted and he said all the core files were. I asked if I could pay a higher price to have full access to all the files so I could customize it and he said no, and that if I wanted full access to the code I would have to buy his whole company. I did not end up buying the script or his company.
