I just started a new site --- accordionist.org --- for the accordion community (players, teachers, music publishers). Although there are some important accordion organizations around the world, and a few important accordion websites, none of them had a community forum; so it seemed this might be useful, hence successful. I used phpBB with only minor customization so far, though more is on the way; plus the auto_language mod, as accordionists are a geographically diverse lot.

Can you visit it and let me know what can be done to make it more useful, and easier, for its intended audience? Many musicians might not be technical at all. If I promote it to accordionists around the world, this might be the first time a visitor has tried to register and use any forum!

I just launched the site yesterday, so it's like a party before most of the guests arrive. So easpecially if any of you are accordionists, please visit; and if you like what you see, please introduce yourself there to help get the thing going, and hopefully meet new friends. Thanks a lot.
