I am just trying to get a feeling for its potential value. It is an free image host running a highly customized script. It is designed to work across multiple servers which can be added in less than 10 minutes.
It was started in Nov. 2004. It has 2700 members and 60,000 images. 30-50 new members a day and 800-1500 new images. All images cleaning daily, no porn.
It is burning about 1000 gigs a month right now and as stated above new servers can be added in minutes.
Main site draws between 800-1500 uniques a day. For anyone who has run these site before stats are not an everyday thing because the logs are so huge.
Has a few Adsense ads and is earning basically very little ($1-8 a day), BUT I have just loaded 80 keyword articles optimized for Hosting related terms that are showing a $XXX+ CPM when it gets traffic ( so all the articles need is traffic).
I have seen what junky little template sites have gotten and real sites have gotten. I have some other opportunities so I am thinking about letting this one go. But I am not desperate and and fine with just growing it myself, if prices are right.
Ideas? I know it is certainly $XXXX

I don't have any clue how to appraise this one.
Seems there is a lot of work to maintain such a site and, as you said, it is burning a bunch of bandwidth. (BTW on my side, pages are very very slow to load.)
I would suggest $400-500, but as said, i might be wrong.

Between $1,250 and $2,500 plus the value of the script. This is assuming you are netting an average of atleast $4 per day. I wouldn't be suprised if somebody would offer you more for it but based on the revenue right now that's roughly what you woud be looking at.

This is a good one as they go, My advice would be to sell it asap as the market for these is getting ver over saturated. And it aint gonna get any better! They "burn bandwith" (I may have borrored that term) they do!
and the users know what they want the site for so are not the best ad clickers!
Get rid quick and you could get $2k with proof of stats

yup, I decide to switch software and I am basically rebuilding for a few months and then I will probably get rid of it.
