Is Plain wordpress acceptable again?

I am trying to figure out which way to go. Film gossip or movie reviews...or ???

i mean you havent even changed the default theme or customised it or anything. Not much content either, so I have no idea what it is you want reviewd..

That was my question I am seeing some very plain Wordpress out there and before i started contenting up (is that a verb?) I was not sure if people really cared anymore.
