Honest appraisals needed

I recently had this site developed for me and would like others to review and critique. I have noticed a big lag time in the site resolving. Do others see this? How about the youtube video on the home page? Does it play all the way through without glitches?
Any other advice appreciated.

Yes, very slow to load. I don't think it's resolution though, my guess is the server is overloaded, or perhaps just the database.

Started the video, started fine, did not watch it all the way through. In Miami.

edit: It could be feeds slowing you down, did not look closely if you had any or not.

Your image provider is the thing that slowdown your website.

I just used firefox and it loaded pretty quickly...site looks pretty good...it is still pretty slow moving from page to page though.


Also, I had to check out what Ford was offering

This is one of your problem. The header image is 71 kb in size.

The image is too big. Break it down into smaller files will do the trick. Browser will not show the image unless the whole image has finished downloading. If you break down the image, browser can download portions of the image at the same time resulting speeding up your site's loading time. Give it a try.
