the design is ...simple.
I would change the following:
-colors- you can do better!
-logo
-I would transform it into XHTML/CSS -the simple layout alllows you to do that without much work.
Good luck.

As a professional graphic designer, I'd disagree with IT Web Team. I think the design is crisp & clean and the logo really isn't bad. I wouldn't change it unless you have a good reason to. There is no advantage to an over-designed, graphically heavy site. Take Google for example. Less is quite often actually more!

Nope. I hired a designer. I can't even draw a straight line.Originally Posted by byalik
Good idea. This is what I got from the designer, hopefully it will come out very clean when it gets back from the coder.Originally Posted by IT Web Team
Hmm, I actually specifically asked the designer to use white as a background color. My thought was that I'm going for a profesionally looking site and most of those use white. I see your point though, I guess I'll have to ask him to make the change and see how it looks like to decide.Originally Posted by GiantDomains
Everyone - thanks a lot for your comments!
Well, obviously it's up to you, but again I disagree! ;-)
I think your first instincts were correct. I can't think of a single "profesionally" site that doesn't use white as their main content bgcolor. If you want to make it "pop" use a darker color as the page/surround background, but keep the content area white! A good example of this: ZDnet.com

Thanks a lot for the feedback man. I am taking your advice and sticking with the design the way it is (It will probably look slightly different after it goes through the coder/CSS/xhtml guys).Originally Posted by Mr.Domains
I thought of that as well. I think it needs it.Originally Posted by Mr.Domains
