I NEED YOU OPINIONS my website is almost done , the merchant acct is up and running , still need some more twiking please" i need some feedback" and i need a new logo for this site i dont like the current one.. check it out

I don't think the logo is that bad, but there is far too much content below the fold. Either put less content, smaller, reorganize, or all of the above.

Plus, what is the MAIN focus of the site?

Too sporadic and too chopped up.

If your service is hooking up renters, buyers, etc with sellers, then stick to that point.

The top part of the site, that is ALL that needs to be on the first page. It is okay to have more than one page. Each of those other categories or sales sections is and can easily be its own page.

Overall, a poor flow and too chopped up visually which make it confusing.

Regarding the other services: each can be a link, a page, a section.

I say stick to the primary service you are advertising (Se Vende). Then offer links to other services, how to sign up, etc.

PS: My MexicoEnRenta is getting some traffic with 33% conversion. LaComuna traffic is sky high with very little conversion (3%). Spanish traffic has been very good the past few months. We'll talk soon, amigo.

1) Please keep your homepage small size and fast load.
2) By looking @ Theme , this layout is OK if kept till the image bar and the rest can be done in a new page as a link or category or if you realy require, can be trimmed down !!

as mentioned, page loads slowly.
no wonder... it weighs in @ 1.64 MB

Images need to be optimized and resized.
that's where most of the extra weight is coming from.

ex: resized: TPM001.jpg. no need for an image @ 1019px × 1000px @ 232kb, when you are scaling it to 200px × 196px. @200px x 196px it would be approximately 11kb

ex: optimized: gallery_furniture.png is 202kb. you can optimize it, same size to 14kb

use .gifs when you can, that is when it doesn't compromise image quality and clarity.

optimizing and sizing of images alone would probably shave off 1MB.


The height of the search boxes at the top of the page could be collapsed. you could rearrange the layout so that it doesn't take up so much space.

The most obvious thing to me was the "Welcome to our site" in english

With a spanish name, you would kinda sorta expect the default to be spanish..

Also. Site too wide. Shoud be variable depending on the visitors resolution. Lose the image in the top section, insert a table(s) or div(s), use a background color instead, put text or smaller image of text in top left to replace the "welcome to...", put image of top of the peoples heads in the center one, etc. that would do it. You may have to re-slice your design to do it right.

I think it's a little lack luster. You're right that the logo could use a bit of work, but the people, house, car, chair thing feels really forced to me as well. A bit of a clip art mashup gone wrong.

"Welcome to"? "Toll Free"? Shouldn't these bits be Spanish?

On the inside every one of your headers and headlines and other bits of text are all hard graphics when they should be HTML text.

If I look at one of your listings how do I get back to the previous page (without having to hit back on my browser obviously)? There's no breadcrumbs, home button, or other means of moving around the site. Clicking the logo doesn't take me home either.

From a usability point of view I reckon it could use a bit of rethinking.

Anyways, for a quick review, that's what I can see off the top of my head. I hope that's of some help.
