image hosting site review

Hello,

I would like a review on my new file hosting site. There isn't much to the site but i make changes here and there. One of the changes i did was the adsense in the front page was a picture there someone told me to move the adsense closer to the upload image button. I don't want to fill the site with ads because i want the site be accepted in directories and other places.

Hi NightLinks,

I just read your post and have taken a look at your website.
First thing I noticed was the max. file size, 2MB. This is a surious problem, even for pictures! (5MB is more reasonable) And why Filecrap ? CRAP isn't a very good word to use, if you ask me.. Also there are only 2 google ads on your entire website, is that enough to cover the cost? Where are you hosting the uploaded files ? Are you sure you're ready for heavy usage? I would also do something with the logo, it needs some work.. and maybe its a good idea to place ads on the left and right site of the page it's just a white bg now so you could aswell use it. I don't think that would effect your acceptancy to directories. But before you thing it's all bad, it's NOT! With some minnor changes I would even consider using it, for my crappy images that is
Good luck!

I choose the name crap because all of the junk that's in the internet right now. I changed the 2mb upload limit to 5mb i was going to wait until the site gets more active to upgrade change the upload to 100mb but i'll leave it on 5mb for now.

I'm going to get a new logo and a picture that describes File Crap good later on. I'm also going to change the script when the site gets more traffic.

Thank YOU! for the reply.

funny name. i suggest you size the splash page directory to files of the same size it looks too polyglot and random to attract new users/contributors.
