Just a thought. Looks good except... With the spam problem rampant I doubt you'll have many who register with email to read the jokes. Why not require registration only for the "joke of the day" feature. Otherwise you site looks good.

There was a problem with the server that the Jokes site was in and now everything is fixed!
The jokes are public now.
