I've tried it all and now putting in the effort

I have tried all kinds of monetization, from parking and turnkey sites to feed sites and syndicated article sites which have done more harm than good. I received a few warnings from Google and some domains deindexed as well, so I have decided to take down anything remotely MFA, bite the bullet and put in some real effort.

I would be grateful for any comments on my latest 2 projects

I just have around 700 good quality co.za domains. It's where I live, but point taken, perhaps the effort would be better spent on .coms

there are awesome designed sites out there but they fail to gain traction, that's where most of the problem lies, you also have to have luck or be a brilliant markeeter.

    very nice
    www.xmasgifts.co.za

Are you implying that you are taking the time to make these yourself?

If so, you have a great jump into site building.

Thanks for all the comments and encouragement, much appreciated.

I am manually doing the content and they do make a bit, not quite enough to warrant the time so far. My view is a little longer term and hope to improve on them constantly and grow the earnings.

Thanks for pointing out the spelling error South.

I have also gone a bit further with a lead and commission based program for an office equipment supplier which is really doing very well itecoffice.co.za and started a similar arrangement at conferenceorganiser.co.za which has not been nearly as successful ast itecoffice.co.za but getting better.

The effort has been well spent and will not waste any more time on borderline MFA sites.

The plan now is to make good use of adwords which I am currently trying to learn about. Any suggested reading on leveraging adwords and ad composition would be greatly appreciated.

Britishbulldog, co.za is growing very nicely. Have made about 40 domain sales this year so far in the $xxx and $x, xxx range
