Judge my site I'm entering for a contest!

I am entering a contest for all students in Maine, grades 6-12.

I had to pick something related to Maine since thats where I live.

So I made www.MaineMammals.com and I was wondering what you think about it?

Suggest you consider using "there are" in this sentence
"There is a countless number of things to do outside in Maine even during winter."

Very well designed.

Neatly laid out, easy navigation and nice colours.

However, one thing that confused me. Your have altered the colour of the scrollbar yet I am actually unable to see it. I can scroll up and down, but cant see where it is exactly. (Or I could just need an eye test !!)

Well done, I would change the index page text a bit , the second line just repeats the first line , "most popular mammals", my guess is that you are looking for keyword density for "popular mammals" , maybe something like this would work:

The state of Maine's natural habitat is most popular for mammals found in the united states because of its natural surroundings, these mammals find the vast wooded areas a popular place for mammals to call home.

Sadly, my computer just died.. the hard drive isn't responding like it should right now. So, I couldn't add anything more to that site but hopefully what is on there will land me a good score.

I'll be sure to keep you updated, the judges will be reviewing the sites from 24th-30th!

Looks great. A few things that I would do if it were mine (just thoughts):
- Center the picture table on mammals.html
- Put the animal name under each of those pictures
- Put the picture over each of the descriptions
- Replace the "<-- GO BACK UP TOP -->" with a graphical button

Thanks for the advice - I will change it when I get a new hard drive

Ah, finally. I just formatted, but, I haven't got my programs all back on.. like photoshop, and my FTP clients.

I will change the 'back up top' thing as soon as I get photoshop up and kicking.
