try darkening the blues in the forum skin...
Otherwise, I think its alright, its a pretty solid domain and could potential become quite popular
Personally, I find that lighter color schemes work well for repeat visitors. Light text on dark background gets hard on the eyes.
Your site is fast loading, so far, and the forum colors are well done. I would match the page background color scheme to that of your forums.
Any TM issues or concerns by using the manufacturer logos for each of the forums (I don't think so, but automotive forums HAVE been pursued in the past for specific issues such as domains and selling merchandise with the forum name, etc.) In your case, the forum domain is nice and generic.
Now just gotta build your community. You have a lot of empty forums, get some friends to stir up some buzz. Post automotive news from each of the mfgr PR sites to the respective forums. We built a couple of auto forums and it was hard work in the beginning, but our launch strategies paid off in terms of becoming a reference site for a specific (high end) model within a single brand.
Good luck.
