Very early stages but wondering whether it looks any good or if you have an idea on what to do to make it look better?

Well, i like the style of the left nav menu, but the fact that none of the sections are highlited one mouse_over is a -

You should center your site, as well as make the content text bigger.

The ofrum link kills ur site, add a forum image or something, button, anything in that space.

I like the colors, but if i wasnt there to look at it dor review, i wouldnt give it a second look, id close it in 4seconds flat and not know what it was i'd just seen tbh.

But like u said, its first stages of design, so good luck.
