That, and after spending just about 2 minutes trying to read the content on that site my eyes really started to hurt. The colors are horrible.

Also, the idea is so old and overdone that I doubt you'll find anyone to donate.

Good luck.

Don't get me wrong, the original site was a huge success. I still get traffic from it as I bought a nice spot early on (see if you can spot the "A" top right) But it was repeated ad nauseum by pixel copycats, to the point that Alex Tew's second project, pixelotto, never took off (he managed to gather only about $150k out of the purported $2 million jackpot).

I agree the MDHP concept is pretty dead.

This site is built using my own open source software which just inched up in size from 15KB to 16KB Ironing out issues identified whilst building the page. The project is located here on sourceforge I just have to write the documentation before uploading the code.

I'll give myself a few days for this task. Given its a demo site I will be able to drive traffic to it via the project.

Regarding the visuals on the website. I grabbed a template from a free provider. But I can change that at will. I just liked the nostalgic terminal look.

here is the template, behind the site, if I change that the whole site is changed. A few minutes work for this PHP developer. Sorry about the eyes Luc.

I am sure, if it fails only time will tell, that I can get my money back if I sell it as a going concern.

(don't worry I won't ask you to eat your "A") Acroplex if it makes the $1,000,000 mark.

At least Acro you are part of internet history. on the original, shows you in the know.

My daughter will be dissapointed she is not going to Uni, just yet. Maybe time to sell my technology based on my maths discovery.

So basically, get a new template and a time machine. lol.

Thanks for your response.

Well, I think my response was pragmatic. One has to devise new means of income source than overuse venues which already experienced their lifecycle.

It was good while it lasted; my "millondollarhomepage.com" typo generated lots of revenue before I sold it

I love pragmatism, Why didn't I think of the Typos I bow to the Tao.

Do you think it would have more of a chance or value if I put it on Pixelad.net and instead of selling ads, I could advertise peoples advertising space on their sites with price ranges, hits and advertising contexts i.e. keywords etc.

If that didn't make sense basically sell advertising space on other peoples websites.

Cheers Bud.

As an original advertiser on the MDHP I would never consider purchasing again.
