Country: | Please review DollarLinking.ca Hi, could you please review www.dollarlinking.ca a seo friendly link bidding directory.
Please let me know what you think about the colors, layout, fonts etc. Is it easy on the eyes? Is it confusing to you what the site is all about?
Thanks in advance.

Country: | Wherever you have "DollarLinking" in your text and tags, it should say "DollarLinking.ca". Like in the top left hand corner.
This might help people to remember the url and come back again. good luck! |

Country: | DollarLinking.ca Hi guys,
Hi LazyLeo, thanks a lot for your review. I agree big time and I actually have a programmer working on this. It definitely needs a login so that listers can make changes to their listings. Thanks.
Hi thanks for your review Whitebark, I agree the text is a bit small in the body, I'll work on this.
Hi Hugegrowth first off thanks for your review. I an wondering why you would focus on the domain at not the keyword. I'm second on google, yahoo ... for the keyword dollarlinking or dollar linking. I get most of my sales because of these keywords. No one is really looking for my domain because I'm nobody but the keywords dollar linking are recognized. I understand that people might remember the domain more if it's in the text but I think it would throw my SEO off topic? Thanks.

I'd suggest that the outgoing links open new window by default. Keeps people with an open door to your page.
Also, the first site featured is not live.

Country: | Hi Jackspat, I agree, it should and will work on this. I have the recommended sites and sponsor links opening in another window. I'll make the changes.
About the Link leader, yeah I know, I contacted him and he didn't reply so that's his lost. It's too bad because it's got a good PR and he's been marketing a lot.
Thanks for your review.

Country: | If you think your site will be found in search engines, people will come one time and never again, then the domain doesn't matter.
If you want people to come back again, it would help to have the domain somewhere prominant on the page so they can type in directly. Most sites seem to list their domain on at least the first page. |

Hi hugegrowth and thanks again for your review and explaination.
I have a site called templatemonster(ca), one of the biggest of all templatemonster(com) affiliate site. I sell mostly to designers and beginning webmasters. Most of my customers are repeat buyers. I do have the title including the extension and all so that customers can easily remember. In the case of DollarLinking.ca, people will find the site only via search engines looking for this exact type of directory / keywords as it is a clone of the original dollarlinking(com) and comes up for search terms such as link bidding...
The only way I could add the extension without hurting the site is if I would make it a graphic or a space after the name so it doesn't capture is as an address but keywords.
Let me know if it doesn't make any sence. I'm not saying that I could not add a small title with the address but I think that it is better to have a larger text than a small text with the .ca attached to it to fit the space.
Thanks,
D |
