Well the colour scheme certainly matches the theme - but the logo is a bit fuzzy - or is that intentional!?

I'm a non-smoker, but neat design nonetheless... the logo doesn't stand out much though. The colors are adequate for the topic, but not easy on the eye.

I took it upon myself to properly Beta test the forum and my recommendation would be to go with a bit lighter of green colours.

It looks ok but I would improve the logo it doesnt stand out much.

How would you plan on monetizing such a site?

Yeah you guys are right..the logo is a bit fuzzy..I will work on that. I did it in like 3 minutes just to get it up. Are you guys that are complaining about the green on LCD's? I find that LCD monitors really mess with colors and lighting too much. So far the members love the layout and color scheme and I ain't sure changing it right now would be beneficial. Also which green do I lighten up? There are 3 of them. If I lighten them won't that make the text unviewable?

As for monetizing the site...not 100% sure. But Cannabis.com doesn't seem to have a problem with getting advertisers. The fact is that advertisers in this genre can't use Adwords..so it may actually be EASIER to monetize by getting direct monthly ad campaigns. I won't even bother trying to make money on the site though until it has a few hundred members and lots of posts.

yes keep me in the loop for free giveaways too. This would seem like the kind of site the government would use to find people for smoking. is it hosted in West Hollywood or Humboldt county?
