Soon, (in about a week or so) im going to start developing a new domain i have, it will contain loads of exclusive free scripts, a forum, jokes system and alot of webmaster tools, at the moment there is only a small google PR thing that surprisingly brings on average 27 uniques a day lol, well at the moment im getting graphics made and hopefully soon a new really nice layout, how would you rate the following logo, on a scale of 1 - 10 (10 is the best)

i'd give it a 2 ... the J is virtually unreadable, and it has an uncomfortable about to fall over feeling. And it "in association with" seems like a non sequitur.

The J looks like a D at first glance and the color combo doesn't suit me, kinda looks like a 3D jigsaw puzzle falling apart (unless that was the intention). No offense intended. |

I don't care for the color scheme either... it starts out with a different color for every letter then stops at one color for the last 3 characters, which gives it a lack of continuity which is accentuated by the fact that it looks like it's falling apart. I won't comment on the colors themselves because that's a very subjective experience and everyone has different tastes. I also agree that the "in association with" shouldn't be there. If you must have that phrase with it, add it separately from the logo. A logo is for branding purposes. |

Pavsta, you may want to get feed back on a "knockout" version first. A 2-color design that works well as a watermark or something. Then do a version with effects applied to it.
