Hello,

Just wrapping up the coding on SK8Parks.org. Still have a bit of php and database work to go but basic layout and functionality is there.

The site started out as an experiment with using Google Maps API. It is a database of US skate board parks using Google maps to display maps and directions. The database is pretty empty right now so please follow these links.

Nice design. The colors work well, and everything is nicely aligned.

In the Featured Parks section, the images should be hyperlinks as well as the headers.

The search function doesn't work.

Recent additions should be links.

When I click browse, then California for example, and there are no results, I suggest having something like: "Be the first to submit your favorite California skate park!" and a link to submit.

Thanks for all the tips! They will be implemented today. Once the site is 100% functional I will begin filling the database and there will be no empty states so I won't have to worry about the submit message.

Any suggestions on add placement?

The top and upper left are the "hot spots" for Adsense ads. Those spots get the highest CTRs. Upper right and lower right are dead zones, and bottom of the page is typically very low as well.
