Well... the banner is very attractive, but I suggest you put your google ads a little lower on the site so that its not the first thing a viewer sees...
it makes it look to much like a ppc template.

Reviews about what? Google Adsense?
Well i would say you should change the ads to blend more with your site to get higer click throughs..
The place where your navigation bar is the hoottest place hwere people click on ads so if possible move the ads on top or put in a link unit up there![]()
thanks guys!...i'll put some fixes in......maybe i shouldnt of asked...lol....tough crowd....
Tough, nahhh... just helpful. Why waste your money and time.
You need to put a link in the middle of your text to another site that has some real Italian recipes on it.. like a page with your banner, and then some "ITALIAN RECIPES OF THE WEEK" and then copy a few recipes from somewhere and paste them up, change the ingredients a bit to make the recipes your own.
Just having a straight text homepage with google ads isn't going to get you much... you need a real link to a real page with real content.
nice domain though...
thanks stephen!.......link to another site?...or link to another of my pages?....and you saying to do it on my homepage only?...
thnks
Antonio...mama mia...I love Italian food, wine, women, and song...
Get the site right and tight so I can bookmark it.
Ciao!
Add another page to your site - your own page, preferably at another host to build up your link pop, but use your same banner and page template. Just put up 20 recipes that you can call your own, then also link that back to your homepage. That way you can avoid that "auto content" kind of feel that a lot of landing pages are putting out.
is that what a lot of people do?...have 2 hosts?...and set up pages there?...and link em back to your original homepage??....becomes costly no??
any thoughts on above question?....is this cost-effective?

There are about 500 free website "Hosting" services out there. They put their own ads on your page, but you can put your content on them and link back to your site.
Or just get a $4.99 hosting site a month from three different hosting services. Get creative... but ultimately, the search engines will change up their AI and move people around, so never depend on SEO traffic to make your domain go. You can get lucky, but prepare for no SE coverage at times.
Best thing to own -- descriptive keyword generic domain. Best scenario, educate the public on how to do browser searching or direct navigation or whatever you want to call it.
Other than that, pound your site with a 100 pages of relevant content, try and do link exchanges with similar sites, and do a lot of blog and forum posting with links back to your site.
That's it. If I had the secret, I'd charge you $300 an hour to learn it, and I do. ;-)
good luck.
thanks Stephen!!...great info....now i gotta translate it...lol....ive submitted my link on a few similar sites...i do need to exchange links though...any other thoughts?
