    Exclamation Seeking Some Feedback...

I have recently launched a new website and I was hoping to have some insight...

My conversion rate isn't as high as I had hoped...I was wondering what people thought of the site...

    I appreciate the help!

    Hi smashmarth,

Off the top, I'd say that your first site is too "busy". It assaults the viewer a little with lots of text all over the place and it will likely cause some viewers to immediately click away. Your second site (ultimatesalespitch.com) is better in this regard, but the free GoDaddy ads on top take away a lot from the site. I would definately get rid of those. You can purchase Hosting to run all of your sites on for less than $40 per year - I would consider doing that and having the ads removed.

Anyway, overall the sites definitely have a generic and "fake" layout to them which I think would cause viewers to have some doubts about the claims being made. The busy aspect mentioned above will likely be preventing viewers from making it past the first paragraph.

I would suggest something more "calming" as an intro and then slowly lead the user into your claims. I think most affiliate marketers would recommend not even mentioning the price until you've done everything you can to convince the user that your product is valuable to them (although for myself I do actually like to know the price of something I'm looking at sooner rather than later).

Anyway, I would say give the viewer some room to breathe a little, lots of white space and a friendly opening paragraph or question. You could also do a lot with your title tag (and I'm assuming other tags) to improve your SEO.

I've never really created those types of pages though so I'm sure others will be of more assistance in this regard.

    Good luck!

I too, share the same feelings about the points you've mentioned! I take your advice very seriously...and...

    Thanks again =)

As you can tell, this is my first stab at that kind of website, hehe...
