Ads - not targeted
Pics near ads - might get you in trouble with G's TOS.
Nice logo and good domain.
Clean design and layout.
The post page domains include the title's keywords. this is a nice plus for seo.
Your archives should include categories. Increases keyword count. Plus, if you can set up the URLs like snitch.com/CATEGORY/title-words.wtv it'll be extra sweet, assuming you make the categories relate to keywords.

The pictures next to the G ads might get you banned, as it is against their TOS, but then I have seen many sites lately doing the same thing.

For me they are targeting. Sometimes they untarget, but only for a short time.

Your archives should include categories. Increases keyword count. Plus, if you can set up the URLs like snitch.com/CATEGORY/title-words.wtv it'll be extra sweet, assuming you make the categories relate to keywords.

The categories are the name of the site that the posts are coming from, so I opted to leave that out of the URL. Most RSS feeds don't include a category so I have no way of categorizing the posts any other way.

You have a good name, but how will you retain a repeat visitor? I don't see any forum that will give them option to collaborate. Your service is just pulling news from diff. entertainment websites.

How will you encourage visitors going to snitch .com instead of gossip .com?

Hi Em,

The advantage over sites like gossip.com is that snitch.com is updated hourly. And because it's pulling feeds from 10 or so blogs, it's pulling more news, more opinions, etc that any one site would have. So basically, if anything happens in the celeb gossip world, you can find it in one place - on snitch.com.

Also, because it's pulling feeds from several sites, many new pages are being created for the search engines to spider. So over time, SE traffic should continue to grow. Already, on search.msn.com (which is now live.com), this site is ranked #1 for "celebrity gossip" and gets traffic for many other keywords as well.

I've contemplated adding a forum, but at this point, the comments feature serves that purpose. Most blogs, link dumps, and blog-like sites don't have forums and simply use comments.

I guess only time will tell how the site will do, but I'm already seeing repeat visitors.

What a great name I was totally motivated to click.
But I expected a corporate whistleblower site or something.
Gossip sites like defamer or superficial have better sleeker design.
Why are they not blurbed?

All that white is tough.

The banner image does not match the content. The things down the middle look like ads. Even after reading them i wasn't sure.

Good domain name, but were it says "Snitch" under that the wording Celebrity Gossip & news should be made to stand out more. I like the design you have on your website now, but if your look for future growth (you site has that potentila) you might consider a different design and color scheme.
