It looks like a pretty nice site to me, the only big issue that I can really see is that your site covers a huge range of topics which makes me think that it could be hard to get traffic there (but I'm pretty new to this, so I could be completely wrong). The layout looks good to me though. I think that you are probably going to need to do some serious advertising to get real value out of it though.
Thanks for the comments! I realize that the site is very broad in scope, but the reason behind that is that I wanted a website where a user could post messages on any topic that they choose. This ranges from Cars to Business to Relationships to Sports, etc....
