I would modify the adsense to have a grey background with purple headings to match your sidebars.

I'd actually replace the gray background from all of the sidebars and advertisements with a white one. Looks a little strange the way it currently is. Also - there are too many different font sizes in my opinion. But the overall layout and look is pretty good.
