question about SEO on main domain when forwording to sub-domain

    http://www.book.amishconfidential.com

    site:book.amishconfidential.com
    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&l...nfidential.com (16 results)

    site:amishconfidential.com
    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&l...om&btnG=Search (19 results

    amishconfidential.com
    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&l...om&btnG=Search (0 results)

Now why is there no results showing for the main domain but there are 16 for "book" sub domain?

Re: question about SEO on main domain when forwording to sub-domain

i know, but the point is that although the "name.com" forwords to "book.name.com", the "name.com" is not indexed. My question is how do I go about getting the "name.com" indexed itself? Do I need to make an enterance page?

I would think that the re-direct is screwing up the results. Take off the sub-domain re-direct and see what it does .
