Country: | SEO or Google expert please I would have posted this in the "open area" except that I figured someone would be more willing to share a secret or two in the Exclusive Forum. I just bought a site (www.fm2.info) that uses php to suck the data from separate folders. In my root directory I only have an index.php file and then I have several sub-folders that contain a file with the content for each page. How will search engine optimization treat this? How will it get spidered? Just curious if there is a downside to this. One thing I know is that each page will have the same header info because of the main index file. From what I have read if all your pages have all the same header info it is treated adversely. |

A lot of scripts that "dynamically" generated content are now being developed to at least create the apearance of static pages ... so there is nothing wrong with dynamically created content sites ... they just need to create static url's ... Good luck ... nice looking site which should have potential ... Greg

So many more sites are dynamically driven so the search engines really have no choice but to get beter at figuring out what pages are what.... I do not feel that having the same header will give you any trouble.. The most important thing is that the contet on these pages is different... BUT - to be completely honest, I do not like how all the pages of the site are behine a perameter ? string..... In most cases from what I have seen is the engines will go ahead in and grab it, but they need alot more pushing to do so.... I site like that needs very good links pointing to it to convince them that they need to go all the way an eat that perameters..... not impossible, just may be a little tougher than usuall.... |

Country: | Re: SEO or Google expert please Your URLlooks fine for indexing. But you need to change something in your code to make the <title>Title</title> reflect the content of each page. Currently the title is exactly the same for each page.
