Done as jojoyohan. I did notice that it added the star wars movies twice and everything else was pretty straightfoward.

I know that PublicCollection.com isn't really a forum, but this seemed like the best place to post an offer like this. I'd like to give 100 DNF to the first 10 people to list their DVDs on http://PublicCollection.com . You must list at least 20 movies for this offer. I'd also like to hear your feedback on the site if you have any, so far there have only been a few users, mostly beta testers. I'd like to change the "Top 5s" on the front page to be "Top 10s", I just need more users!
Hopefully the interface is pretty straightforward. Once you create an account you can create a new "collection", from there you can add movies to your collection by entering the UPCs.. if you still have a CueCat from a few years back you can use that to scan in the barcodes to make it quicker.

This offer has ended. Thanks to everyone who has participated! The feedback collected here has helped me track down and fix several bugs. Maybe i'll do this again next time i add a few features since it worked out so well this time!

Done as edder. Star Wars shows up as twice for me, too. Maybe you could add an automatic redirect after you add a movie, rather than have your visitors click continue every time.

I think that I have fixed the duplicates problem... probably wouldn't have caught it without you guys, thanks! As for the automatic redirect, i think that this is taken care of when you enter more than one UPC at a time. After adding a UPC and clicking "Add UPC" it gets queued up under "UPCs to add", and once you've entered all your UPCs you can click "Add to collection", and then from there you will be prompted to continue.. however, if you are adding one UPC at a time and clicking "Add to collection" after each one, i can see how that can get annoying..maybe i should put a note on there to make it more clear that upcs can be queued..

NTS, sure!.. if you help me out by adding a few comments to your collection once you get a few dvds in there. I just added the comment thing to the collection editor tonight. You should be able to say something like "i like this movie because..." or whatever, but nobody has tested it yet other than me. Same goes for the user profiles... Thanks!!

Added all my videos as nts. Tried the comment system too, but it won't except the comment for "Airplane!" movie.

Site suggestions, well i understand the site is still in the beta stage so its developing but i would have likes to see a more spicy layout and a nice logo to go with it, when you are out of testing phase, let me know, i can help you with the design. And well not many problems yet, but one thing i felt was a bit unnecessary was the confirmations for adding, deleting entries.
Overall, a great effort!!
