    enom CD, weird event

apparently there were 2 bidders for a name.
one of them was me, and I had the name entered first as it shows.
    I should have won right?

instead, as soon as the domain was caught, they sent out an email that an auction was starting!
(dont you have to bid $30 minimum for an auction? cause neither of us did)

of course, when they sent the email I was out for dinner.
I got back, and the auction said it was closed, although in the other part it showed it had 3 days left.

    what happened?
this was a drop, yet it said reverse auction on the screen (and it lasted for 2 hours)...
    Anyone have any clue???

    Hello seeker.

    That's how it works.

If at least two people make a bid, but nobody bids at least $30, it goes into a "reverse auction".

These auctions are open to everyone, so someone else can spot a nice name in a reverse auction and bid $60 and get it.

This happened to me yesterday too

    wow, thanks.
    that's a change.
it used to be whoever got it first if there was no bid above $30.
they change the rules all the time I guess
