    The winning strategy??? Spend more money but spend it wisely.

    I backorder domains all the time but delete some because I have buyer's remorse (thankfully) before the purchase.

    I think about the hassles of setting the nameservers, getting the auth code, unlocking, monitoring, etc. So, I add a $100 cost to each dropping name I like for the pain in the *** factor. That helps me prioritize my drop wish list better.

    i was really active last month but for some reason the names are getting worse. i dont know if its just me or people are really holding on to their names. Im thinking about starting my own auction site.
