This may sound like pure madness, but ZL.com is at NameJet in a pre-release auction! Looks like Zellweger Luwa AG of Switzerland did not renew it.

Not so sure about that. There have been some extremely low-priced sales there lately. I would not be surprised if ZL didn't reach 6 figures.

Not that I know the LL .com market but...

The names value among resellers at this time in the market is $65k-$75k and no more. The unsavy buyer will pay more perhaps but many nicer LL have sold as of late for barely $100k.

I have noticed many companies actually drop domains because they forget to renew. It isn't always about them not knowing value. It does happen.

I know it sounds crazy but well

In that particular case it looks like they have rebranded themselves to luwa.com and probably were no longer using their short name. Besides, the contact E-mail was set to a @zl.com address so if they are relying on the courtesy reminders...

I thought some domainer would have all LL.com monitored for stuff like this.

Maybe someone contacted them but they were unresponsive or didn't speak english.
