Seems like I was the only person who back-ordered a domain, a nice domain, and 1st they up'd the price to $250, then they set the auction to last for 40 days, now another person has appeared as a bidder and I checked and anybody can now add it to their cart and join the bidding.
Isn't this kind of bait and switch?
I have 400 domains back-ordered at snapnames... and bought about 20 there over the last 3 years... wasn't there some kind of implicit contract that I would buy the names that were dropped and they would sell them just to me and the other back-orderers - not to the whole wide world?

It's like that these days with all of the drop catchers just about. Many users are now priced out of the hunt for those "best" dropping domains because of the auctions.Originally Posted by mk001

I have a major, major name that is about to be deleted. I'm glad I decided to use pool and namejet, while avoiding snap entirely.
