I agree, but thankfully LLL.com prices have picked up in May/June. A quick dnsaleprice/namebio lookup proves that.

Not a single LLL.com sold below $3k (noone was even close to $3k) like we saw in Q1 2009.

I still don't like to see LLL.coms selling at $3,xxx, but we can definitely say that the prices are up, if only just a little?

Values have ALWAYS been strong on premium combos no matter what, unless the seller was a speculator who just needed fast cash...the true "value" of LLL.com's has not changed much because the people that have the premium ones are'nt really selling in those lower price ranges...

True. When some people sell their worst possible LLL.coms at a time when noone wants them, that is what will happen.

Thanks for posting that price list.

That's sorted as:

3,317
3,596
3,633
3,869
3,871
3,952
4,100
4,422
4,499
4,600
5,000
5,310
5,316
5,819
6,000
9,999
12,322
15,000
20,525
25,800

The median is the 4600/5000 pair, which equals to 9,600/2 = 4,800

That's the real figure you're looking at.

That's a pick-up right there. Only slightly, but it's there.

Did you guys see analysis I put together based on ccc.com's? (ref. DomainNameWire.com) May also be of interest, see below:

-----------------------------------------------------------------

I pulled some hard data (from DnSalePrice.com) to examine domain sale price trends and current environment. My conclusion is that while there’s softness in current pricing, domain values have held up very well. This is particularly clear when compared to metrics such as the DJIA over the same time period.

To minimize variations from individual domain values I examined sales that were three consonants, com TLD, and sold between Jan ‘05 and May ’09. I excluded domains containing letters Q,X,Y or Z, dictionary words and IDN’s. I also excluded sales over $30k as 1) their scale obscured trends and 2) there are valuation factors setting these domains apart. Data before ’05 was not included due to sparseness. I believe trends should extend to the overall .com market.
