jesus.com and christ.com are highly symbolic domain names, some wealthy individual or massive religious organization could bid a million dollars for it.

For starting a site with real content from scratch, having a name that says what it does is still good in my book. I still think most people can't get used to .net, so tell them christ.net and they'll go to christ.com
