Snap - win to ownership time?

I've just won my first name at snapnames. How long does it take for me to gain actual ownership? And does the bid always include the registration cost?

Re: Snap - win to ownership time?

Hi

yes the winning bid also includes registration cost.

once snap has received payment for the domain, they will send you a "confirmation" that you have won the auction.

later you should receive login details from the actual registrar of the domain.

congrats!

usually the same night, sometimes the next day. It should also show up somewhere in your accout with manage link next to the domain you won.

Re: Snap - win to ownership time?

I won two auctions today and it took about 2 hours after.

Re: Snap - win to ownership time?

They use to say "within 48 hours". Time to have your login/pass may vary depending on the final register of the domain.
